The gr-iio package is currently broken due to the update to GNU Radio 3.8, and is missing a dependency. This new version of GNU Radio requires that a different branch from the upstream repository is used to compile the gr-iio package.

This bug has been in the "assigned" state since 2020-02-24.

Hi @isaact, in order to become a package maintainer you need to be part of the packager group. To have commit access to the dist-git repositories. Judging from your request, the best will be to write a message to the devel list and ask for sponsorship.
Once you have a sponsor and you have approved the re-review request, reopen this issue and releng will unretire the requested package.
