Bugs files against udev should be somehow reassigned to systemd. Setting the assignee seems the easiest option, but there might be a better option.
(I cannot edit "Bugzilla assignee" under https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/udev.)
When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) No hurry.
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) Maybe another 8 years?
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? Confused users.

Hi @zbyszek, I have set the Fedora Bugzilla assignee to systemd-maint. I am not sure if some automation scripts won't pick it up and change back to orphan since the package is retired. Please reopen this issue if that happened.

@zbyszek For "python" we have blocked the component in Bugzilla. You might want to do the same with "udev".
Thanks! Let's see it goes.

Oh, how do I do that?
I cannot locate the proper email about this :(
However I vaguely recall @kevin was involved.
If that would be possible, I think we should make blocking of bugzilla for retired packages part of SOP. Most of the time people file those by mistake.

Oh, cool. I tried to file a bug against udev just now and got "This component is inactive.". It seems that the bugs I reassigned today must have been filed before this went active in April.
