Hello there,
I have the following 3 packages that needs to be tagged for F10, so that they can feature on the FEL livecd. Their current tagged n-v-r crashes with a segmentation fault on launch.
ktechlab-0.3.69-10.20081031svn.fc10 alliance-5.0-22.20070718snap.fc10 gwave-2-10.20070514snap.fc10
I want the above packages tagged for F10 so that they can be on the FEL livecd. Their previous n-v-r crashes with a segmentation fault.
The FEL Livedvd is a marketing media for Fedora. It is a shame to ship applications that crashes on launch. It is also a shame for me to recommend small companies and universities to move to Fedora with broken package.
Affecting (in a negative manner) the marketing material of the FEL deployment.
Sorry about this late call. I recently moved to another city (third time this year) here in Belgium and today I got my own internet connection.
+1
+1, moved, tagged.
Hai there,
2 of the 3 above apps are still broken. - alliance and gwave
I got gwave fixed by adding another Requires. Gwave and guile-gnome-platform are very fragile. For the time being the Requires fix the problem. On the long term, fedora's maintainer of guile-gnome-platform and myself will have a serious discussion with gwave's upstream.
As for alliance, I'm still working on it.
Please tag the following for F10-final please: * gwave-2-11.20070514snap.fc10
thanks, Chitlesh
+1 on gwave-2-11.20070514snap.fc10
+1 and gwave; leaving open for an alliance fix
gwave moved & tagged. Leaving open for alliance.
Hai there again,
We figured out what was the issue with alliance's crash. There was a missing Requires:xorg-x11-fonts-misc
alliance-5.0-23.20070718snap.fc10
Can anyone tag this please for F10-final.
Thanks.
Confirmed fixes crasher, +1 for alliance-5.0-23.20070718snap.fc10
(I'm still only seeing empty text boxes, instead of any readable text in menus/app, but that's a long-standing issue that I've seen going back to last akademy).
True, the empty text boxes is a long-standing issue, but it's only present on certain machines. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=451209
moving, tagging, signing, again :)
