#9608 Unretire rpms/arm-none-eabi-gdb
Closed: Get back later 3 years ago by humaton. Opened 3 years ago by austin880625.

  • Describe the issue
As I remembered(and checked on package repository archives), arm-none-eabi-gdb existed on Fedora 29 or earlier. But currently it is just labeled as orphaned and emptied on source package site, without any explanation or information about possible alternatives.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
There is no specific date. But it is needed when cross-debugging programs run on ARM architecture.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
I cannot cross-debug my program run on ARM development board without compiling gdb by hand or fetching binary package from ARM official site.

Hi, the package is retired for more than 8 weeks. Please follow the standard procedure and create a re-review request. Once you have the re-review approved please reopen this issue.
