#949 f10-final tag request: kdepimlibs-4.1.2-4.fc10
Closed: Fixed None Opened 15 years ago by kkofler.

So it turns out that my last-minute change to make kdepimlibs use the system libical (using a patch backported from the KDE 4.2 trunk) was a bad idea, it causes crashes in KOrganizer: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=469228
That change will need more debugging before it is ready for production use, and it is too late for that for f10-final, so I see reverting as the best option.

This build (kdepimlibs-4.1.2-4.fc10) reverts kdepimlibs to how it was like in 4.1.2-2.fc10 (i.e. it makes it use the bundled libical, which is unfortunately the only one supported in KDE 4.1), so it effectively undoes the tagging of 4.1.2-3.fc10 (but I had to bump and rebuild for upgrade paths).
