#9462 Incomplete package retirement: jaf (not blocked in koji)
Closed: Fixed 3 years ago by mohanboddu. Opened 3 years ago by decathorpe.

  • Describe the issue

jaf was retired 10 months ago:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/jaf/c/f33692bd42bc2ce8257458b6b750578422cc1c0e?branch=master

However, the package was not blocked in koji, so it's still available in fedora 32+. It should be blocked in koji, at least for rawhide / f33, or it will continue to be available indefinitely (since it's not tracked by FTBFS issues anymore)?

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Not urgent.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Never (unless somebody unretires the package).

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

A broken package (last built on fedora 30) will stay available from fedora repos indefinitely, with no proper tracking of its state.

For some reason pdc was not updated with the right values.

I updated it now and should be blocked as part of the next nightly compose. If you still see the problem persists, please reopen the ticket.

Thanks.
