#9344 Automation for new branch creation does not consider group membership
Closed: Fixed 3 years ago by mohanboddu. Opened 3 years ago by jpena.

  • Describe the issue

When a new branch is requested for a package, there are automated scripts that check if the requester is an admin for the package, and deny the request if that is not the case. However, this does not take into account group membership, as shown by [1][2].

Would it be possible to update the scripts to include group membership check, or at least have a way to flag these issues for human review?

I can't fix https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1815830, which blocks other bzs too.
