#9208 side-tag cannot be merged back to f32
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by kwizart. Opened 4 years ago by kwizart.

  • Describe the issue
I've worked on a side-tag for OpenCV 4.2 and OpenImageIO rebuild, but I cannot merge it into f32 using bodhi.
    Side tag is f32-build-side-18102

I've tried to use the following bodhi update:
bodhi updates new --type enhancement OpenColorIO-1.1.1-5.fc32,OpenImageIO-2.1.10.1-3.fc32,YafaRay-3.3.0-31.20190819git0a182c1.fc32,blender-2.81a-5.fc32,digikam-7.0.0-0.3.beta2.fc32,frei0r-plugins-1.7.0-4.fc32,gmic-2.8.3-2.fc32,libfreenect-0.5.7-13.fc32,luxcorerender-2.3-0.1beta1.fc32,nomacs-3.12-5.fc32,opencv-4.2.0-2.fc32,os-autoinst-4.6-6.20191226gitd693abe.fc32,php-facedetect-1.2.0-0.11.20180306gitc717941.fc32,player-3.1.0-20.fc32,simarrange-0.0-2420170316git8238ce5.fc32,siril-0.9.12-4.fc32,waifu2x-converter-cpp-5.3.3-4.fc32 --notes "rebuild for opencv and OpenImageIO"
But received:
Cannot find release associated with build: OpenColorIO-1.1.1-5.fc32, tags: ['f32-build-side-18102']

I cannot select individuals build with the bodhi web interface either.

As a side note I wonder if there isn't a race when another rebuild is done (using another side-tag or the f32-rebuild side-tag for the mass-rebuild)...

  • When do you need this? (2020/01/31) (because this is my birthday ;).

Okay, seems like fixed.
One need to be the "owner" of the side-tag to do the update (even if provenpackager).
