#8500 Side tag needed for Boost 1.70 rebuilds in rawhide
Closed: Fixed a year ago by mohanboddu. Opened a year ago by jwakely.

  • Describe the issue

I need a sidetag, f31-boost, to do rebuilds of packages affected by https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/F31Boost170

  • When do you need this?

  • When is this no longer needed or useful?

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

No boost update in F31

I've added tag, but not target yet.

Once https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/7962 is done, you will be able to build packages.

Please try to squeeze rebuilds until 2019/07/24 since mass rebuild will start at that time.

Ok, target added.

Please wait for https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=36008551 to finish and you can build packages using fedpkg build --target=f31-boost.

Let me know once you are done.

Thanks. I haven't actually managed to get Boost to build yet, because Boost hates my way of life.

I'm abandoning the change for F31, please remove the side tag.

@mohanboddu @kevin should we actually remove tag instead of removing only target since no builds were performed?

@ignatenkobrain Only we need to remove the target, we can leave the tag.

Since you removed the target, I am closing the ticket.
