#8458 Take over glfw from nonresponsive maintainer
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by mohanboddu. Opened 4 years ago by thofmann.

  • Describe the issue
The user @bioinfornatics is nonresponsive, as discussed and confirmed by FESCo here. I'd like to take over glfw. It probably makes sense to also orphan the other packages maintained by @bioinfornatics.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    2019/06/24

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    never

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
I cannot update librealsense because it needs glfw 3.3.

@thofmann I know the FESCo ticket will go through, but we need to wait until its officially approved.

Sorry and thanks :beers:

Oh I thought that was implicit, as the guideline says:

If at least one FESCo member approves the takeover, and no one objects within 3 days, the reporter may take over the package.

Three days have passed, multiple FESCo members have approved, and nobody has objected. What do I need to do? Wait?

@thofmann Thanks for correcting me, I remember it being that FESCo has to approve it. Now you own glfw package.
