#8448 Unretire Pew
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by ignatenkobrain. Opened 4 years ago by tadej.

  • Describe the issue
    I would like to unretire the pew package in Fedora 30+.

    I've followed the Claiming Ownership of a Retired Package guide and announced my intention on the devel mailing list as well as submitted a new package review which got approved.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    As soon as possible.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    N/A.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    People will be unable to use the pew package in F30+.

@tadej pew is now unretired for master.

Thanks for picking it up.

To add it to f30, please use "fedpkg request-branch"

@mohanboddu, thanks for unretiring pew.

To add it to f30, please use "fedpkg request-branch"

I did that https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/12492 and successfully pushed new code to the branch.

However, when I tried to build the package in Koji, I got the following error:

BuildError: package pew is blocked for tag f30-updates-candidate

Is this something that needs to be manually unblocked?
