#8419 Stop checking PDC date for git push reject
Opened a year ago by ignatenkobrain. Modified 11 days ago

remote: Branch refs/heads/0.28 is unsupported
remote: Denied push for ref 'refs/heads/0.28' for user 'ignatenkobrain'
remote: All changes have been rejected
To ssh://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libgit2
 ! [remote rejected] 0.28 -> 0.28 (pre-receive hook declined)
error: failed to push some refs to 'ssh://ignatenkobrain@pkgs.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libgit2'

I mean, really :)

@ignatenkobrain What are you suggesting here? We need something else to figure out whether a component is retired or not. And I think pdc is the best place for it, although to change the EOL for modules, its a bit headache as one has to request releng to change it.

I guess we should fix that in fedpkg.

@mohanboddu I've just filed #8437 and found this one here. I agree that ideally fedpkg request-branch should let you modify the SLs/EOL dates (just as you can specify them when requesting a branch to be created in the first place).

@mohanboddu reports that he has a fix with new pagure on dist-git. See pull request https://pagure.io/pagure-dist-git/pull-request/72
