Koji is currently using Mock 1.3.4, which is nearly 2 years old version. Please consider using a recent Mock version.
This is already tracked in #6967. Mock version 1.4.13 is deployed in staging. New chroot is known to break epel6 builds, for example see this task. Old chroot works for everything I tested it with in staging.
