#7439 Bodhi can now manage containers
Closed: Fixed 5 years ago by syeghiay. Opened 6 years ago by bowlofeggs.

Greetings!

Today I deployed Bodhi 3.6.0 to production, which adds support for containers (except for buildroot overrides). To make use of it, we just need to add container releases to Bodhi with all the appropriate Koji tags and we're off to the races. Doing so may or may not require Freeze Break Requests, not sure, but wanted to let you know that the feature is ready for your use as you see fit.

Adding the meeting tag to discuss in our next releng meeting on Thu and check what needs to be done and when can it be done.

We need to make sure https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/6874 is completed before we enable containers in Bodhi.

From RelEng meeting on Apr 19 2018:

  • We will enable container support in bodhi after freeze (mboddu,
    17:18:15)
  • mboddu will create a list of tag names and give it to bowlofeggs to
update them in the bodhi configs (mboddu, 17:19:02)
  • We should sync up with puiterwijk to see how we can enable signing
    on containers (mboddu, 17:19:28)
  • There is more than meets the eye's here, we have to think about the
process and come up with a plan (mboddu, 17:37:30)
