#7393 perl component is missing from Fedora/Fedora Module product in Bugzilla
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by ppisar. Opened 6 years ago by ppisar.

Bugzilla finally contains component for modules. But "perl" is still missing there (in contrast to "perl-bootstrap").

Please create "perl" component in Fedora/Fedora Module product with default assignee "ppisar@redhat.com".

@ralph or @mprahl any ideas why this wouldn't be syncing correctly?

@kevin how are non-modular components synced?

It's https://infrastructure.fedoraproject.org/cgit/ansible.git/tree/roles/distgit/pagure/templates/pagure-sync-bugzilla.py.j2 which runs on src.fedoraproject.org from cron.

It should be syncing modules, and indeed appears to sync others... but for some reason not perl. ;(

Perhaps it's data is not right in pdc?

Any progress? This perl component still does not exist in Bugzilla.

Any progress? It's a year and the perl module is still not in the Bugzilla.

We have a pile of issues around this script which we hope to address soon, but in the mean time I manually went and created the component. Take a look and let me know if you need anything further there... and sorry this has been lingering so long.

Many thanks for creating the component in the Bugzilla. However, a default assignee is wrong. It's phracek@redhat.com now, it should be ppisar@redhat.com.

Well, the main admin of that component is phracek... but sure I can change it. Done.

In order to make you main admin, they would need to go into settings at the bottom and do 'give project' to you.
