Currently, people cannot build in COPR because updates repo cannot be synchronized for ppc64le arch due to lacking compose after branching. It was worked around by creating empty repodata for x86_64. Would it be possible to do for ppc64le as well so that people can build in COPR against base set of packages (in fedora-28 repo)? Thank you!
I guess all alt-arches might lack the now-empty updates repos.

About two hours probably. The empty repos need to sync out, then mirrormanager needs to find it, and we need to build and deploy new mirrorlist data.
the current empty repos all need to be redone as they have not been implemented accounting for the modular changes in f28
