#6816 latest build of shared userspace module doesn't have a repo
Closed: Invalid Opened by ttomecek.

Hello, me and @jscotka stumbled upon an issue that latest build of shared userspace module doesn't have a repo created in https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/repos/

To be more precise, this repo is missing:

https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/repos/module-0ac0da76fc1cfc6e/latest/x86_64

This is present:

https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/repos/module-0ac0da76fc1cfc6e-build/latest/x86_64

Any idea what's going on? This is currently blocking tests using modularity testing framework.

Correct me if I'm wrong but MBS no longer creates targets for modules and any old ones should have been removed by now. Build repos are necessary to build modules properly but I think they're just temporary and autoremoved after some time. This is not a bug; the repo generation was removed as part of https://pagure.io/releng/issue/6786.

mbs-build downloads tag contents for builds. I thought MTF was doing the same? Ultimately this should be solved by on demand composes but we don't have that yet.

but we don't have that yet.

So we are in limbo now?

We can close this one I suppose. I opened fm-orchestrator issue then to solve this.
