We're ready to start building Fedora 26 Beta release candidates. Please build an RC1, including:
== Blockers ==
== Freeze exceptions ==
Thanks!
Updating request with two newer versions of packages in the original request. I've also edited the original request just to be doubly sure we get the right bits. :)
OK, so it looks like we want to try again, with just one change from the previous compose:
The attempt to fix the upgrade bug caused failures during compose (and also broke people's RPM databases). The upgrade bug has been adjusted to Accepted0Day / AcceptedPreviousRelease , which means we can spin an RC compose without a fix for it, but we can't actually release without a fix for it.
FYI, following blocker/FE builds are being used for Beta 1.3 compose:
$ koji list-tagged f26-compose Build Tag Built by
fedora-logos-26.0.1-1.fc26 f26-compose spot initial-setup-0.3.45-1.fc26 f26-compose m4rtink libgweather-3.24.0-2.fc26 f26-compose fmuellner libgweather-3.24.0-3.fc26 f26-compose adamwill libvncserver-0.9.11-2.fc26 f26-compose rdieter lvm2-2.02.168-6.fc26 f26-compose mcsontos
So I missed one possible blocker fix from the request :( Sorry. @pwhalen reported that #1438046 is fixed by initial-setup-0.3.46-2.fc26 , but he didn't mention whether initial-setup-0.3.45-1.fc26 also worked. In addition, there are some FE fixes I also missed from the request. So, I think we should run another compose, with:
Note, you must use that lorax build to run the compose - I believe this is different from simply including it in the side tag, but @ausil would know for sure. Thanks!
RC3 compose is done and available from https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/compose/26/Fedora-26-20170530.0/compose/ it has been synced to http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/26_Beta-1.3/ rpms have all be hardlinked to /pub/fedora/linux/development/26/
Also, we are running a Beta RC4 compose, we will sync it when its done.
