#6426 Unretire python-sockjs-tornado
Closed: Fixed None Opened 7 years ago by tc01.

I'd like to unretire python-sockjs-tornado on the master branch.

The package has been re-reviewed (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1334887), so as per the unretirement guidelines I attempted to unretire using pkgdb. However, pressing the "Unretire" button here (https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/rpms/python-sockjs-tornado/) resulted in the error "you must provide a valid review URL". That bug has fedora-review+ set and looks like a valid review URL to me, so I'm not sure what's wrong.

There is a bug in pkgdb2 afaics. Please try the following URL: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1334887

If it does not work, please re-open this ticket.

Koji does not let me unblock the pkg, not sure if there is a race condition:

{{{
koji unblock-pkg f25 python-sockjs-tornado
GenericError: no data (blocked or otherwise) for package python-sockjs-tornado in tag f25
}}}

I will keep this open to try it later

Was it necessary for me to first import the package into master and build it? I've now done that.

I also requested branches for F24 and F23; not sure if the package has to be unblocked explicitly on those as well.

Hm; attempting to build on F23 returns a "FAILED: BuildError: package python-sockjs-tornado is blocked for tag f23-updates-candidate", so I'm assuming the package was not blocked on F23 or F24 since I was able to build successfully on both.

If the package could be unblocked on F23 as well, that would be awesome. :)

thank you, should be unblocked.
