Would it be possible to get a Fedora 17 or 18 AMI image built and made publically available in the new Amazon Sydney data centre : ap-southeast-2?
I managed to copy an image from us-west-2 to ap-southeast-2 and configure and get working.
AMI Image : ami-bdbf2887
I will be fixing this tomorrow
The fedora 17 AMI image currently available in Sydney (ap-south-east-2) is using an ubuntu kernel and as such is barely functional.
Can this please be fixed?
I believe I have fixed the problems with the previous image. Try this one. ami-67bd2a5d
If you wanted to try with a difference kernel. Feel free to use Snap : snap-5c43cc6c of the raw image.
Please leave this ticket open for a releng person to close when there is official fedora images up
{{{ ap-southeast-2 x86_64 EBS-backed ami-e3a433d9 ap-southeast-2 i386 EBS-backed ami-87a433bd }}}
the exact same images as exist in all other zones
