#3842 Create Installable Images for QA testing #1
Closed: Fixed None Opened 13 years ago by jkeating.

Copying info over from pre-filed ticket:

This ticket is intended to track task#4 on the F-14 rel-eng schedule. The created images will be used to execute the Rawhide acceptance test plan.

Hans: Rawhide currently contains anaconda-14.9-1.fc14. Is that the correct version of anaconda you wish to be included in the test run?

Chris Lumens built [http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=182543 anaconda-14.10-1.fc14] for this RATS milestone. These are the first official install image created for F14, so there may be other builds required, but I think we are ready for the next step?

Please include pykickstart-1.76-1.fc14 as well. I don't know if there are any other builds required besides what anaconda Requires.

Does Release Engineering have an ETA on when these images will be ready? They were requested for 2010-07-08.

Late tonight. The anaconda and pykickstart builds weren't in rawhide until today and I had to take today as pto for family reasons.

Koji outage this weekend delayed this a bit, but finally got new images posted to the url above. That directory is a link to the rawhide-20100711 directory at the same level. Test away!

Thanks, tests are inprogress. Results will be posted to the wiki (see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_14_Pre-Alpha_Rawhide_Acceptance_Test_1) along with a test summary to test@lists.fedoraproject.org when testing has completed.

Early testing shows an anaconda traceback preventing installs (see [http://bugzilla.redhat.com/613610 613610]). Will work any issues with the anaconda team.
