#3585 Buildroot override of openssl-1.0.0-1.fc12
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by robert.

In order to rebuild httpd-2.2.15-1.fc12 correct (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=579311#c5), I need a buildroot override of openssl-1.0.0-1.fc12. Thank you.

ping, it's been a couple of weeks, still need this?

The situation is that openssl-1.0.0-1.fc12 was broken as an update due to a multilib conflict ([https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=578842 bug 578842]) but was fine to build against. Unfortunately, no one ever bothered to prepare a fixed update; I have [https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=588181 bug 588181] open for this.

So, while the original httpd builds needing the override are done, the override is still valid and would be needed if httpd were to be rebuilt for any reason. What is the policy for keeping or dropping overrides in such cases?

1.0.0-4 is in updates now, closing.
