- Avoid traceback in PhysicalDevice.py.

Each of these is a 1- or 2-line change. Four of these eight changes are already live in Fedora 11.

They have all been individually tested, and I am currently running 1.1.13-4.fc12 with no problems. It has passed my own testing (add printer, modify printer, print test page etc).
