backport upstreams simple fix to avoid using the reserved keyword "as"
Rationale for why the change is important enough to be allowed in after the feature freeze.
without it fonttools simply doesn't work, its ttx tool cannot save a file. If ttx is fixed to work it could be used by the sazanami-fonts package during its build process to re-implement the fix for 196433 by operating on the original font.ttf which would document (and minimize) our changes to that font. The current situation is that we ship a .ttf which was opaquely modified in an offline fontforge session.
Impact of not accepting the feature at this point of the schedule.
not major, if fonttool's ttx was being extensively used this would have been noticed before now.
Information on what testing you've already done on the feature to help reduce the risk.
ttx -i -a -e sazanami-gothic.ttf
