#2243 Need to rebuild the nfs-utils package to put the default protocol version back to v3
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by steved.

To stop legacy Linux server failing all NFS mount, where
the protocol version is not specified, the protocol verions
need to be put back to v3.

In the nfs-utils-1.2.0-14.fc12 version will do that by
setting the global version variable in /etc/nfsmount.conf.

This is the reason I need to rebuild nfs-utils

Straight up tagging this one, as it was requested by releng in the first place.

Strike that, it hasn't been built yet. Steve, please do the build and confirm that nothing untoward happened during the build and then we'll tag it.

I can't do the build:
koji: error: Destination tag dist-f12 is locked

Well, I thought I would try to be a bit proactive here
and try to build the patches in devel branch. I quickly
notice that tags on the F-12 branch and devel are
the same since nfs-utils-1_2_0-14_fc12 tag existed
in devel

So I bumped up the revision number to 15 and created the
nfs-utils-1_2_0-15_fc12 and tried to build... Unfortunately
I got the same build failure:
koji: error: Destination tag dist-f12 is locked

So at this point I can not do anything...

Steve, have you done a "cvs up" recently? Especially on the common directory...

Doing a 'cvs up' in the common directory did to the trick. Thanks!!
