I launched a make update after building the new gstreamer-plugins-good, and it obsoleted the whole of the old update in which an older gst-plugins-good was.
This update:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F11/FEDORA-2009-4913
got replaced by this one:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F11/FEDORA-2009-5297
without inheriting the gstreamer and gstreamer-plugins-base packages
re-assigning to luke, that's his pile.
So when an update becomes "obsoleted", the newer update inherits the old updates bugs and notes, not builds. If you would like to see this behavior change, please file a ticket here: http://bodhi.fedorahosted.org
