#12634 close fedora-scm-requests for modules automatically (where is the code?)
Closed: upstream a month ago by phsmoura. Opened a month ago by churchyard.

  • Describe the issue

Due to a problem in fedpkg fixed in https://pagure.io/fedpkg/pull-request/591 I see an influx of invalid tickets in fedora-scm-requests requesting new modules. For each of them, I am mentioned and I need to manually close the ticket as invalid.

Example: https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/73292

I think the bot could close all module requests as invalid, as we do not build modules.

Could you please show me where the code for the bot is located? I can try to make the necessary changes.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) any time

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) when all people update to fixed fedpkg

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? spam for me and other folks approving fedora-scm-requests tickets

I think this might be causing it, https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/toddlers/blob/main/f/toddlers/plugins/scm_request_processor.py#_408

Removing modules from here and redoplying poddlers should resolve the issue

As there is a PR in toddlers already, we are closing as upstream
