#12590 fedora-toolbox missing f42 tag, and testing still points to f38
Closed: Insufficient data 2 months ago by kevin. Opened 4 months ago by salimma.

  • Describe the issue
When creating a new test container to verify some Fedora 42 issues, I noticed that http://registry.fedoraproject.org/fedora-toolbox:testing actually gives me a Fedora 38 container, not 42 as I was guessing (what 'testing' is supposed to be does not seem to be documented)

There is also no container tagged 42, the latest is 41.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    2025/02/21

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    Can't use fedora-toolbox, I'm resorting to quay.io which does have F42 images

Are you litterally meaning the http / web page part?

Both the actual docker:// / oci images are there at least from here according to skopeo inspect. ;)
