When searching the devel@ mailinglist it's hard to see past all the compose reports. It'd be nice if they were sent to a new separate ML.
There was a recent (short) discussion about this on the devel@ mailinglist and it seems to have (some) proponents. Is this the right avenue to ask? :)
This is the right place, but would prefer to wait until after the holidays to allow for...everyone who doesn't happen to be around to weigh in. ;)
+1 for this proposal.
I'm happy to put my +1 to this, we can have a compose report separately send to a mailing list!
-1 The compose reports being in the main list mean I read them from time to time, which lets me keep a pulse on the status of Fedora, especially around releases.
Also, use a mail filter if the compose reports bother you.
Now having said that, it would be nice if we used a standard format for all Fedora automated messages, to make filtering them a bit easier.
As explained in the thread on the devel mailing list, this is not about being bothered by compose messages, it's that having compose messages sent to the devel list just "breaks" the search functionality in hyperkitty, since compose messages contains almost all package names. The search in hyperkitty is just unusable and it is unrealistic to expect that everyone maintain a local copy of all the devel list history...
Moving those messages to a separate list would not fix the history up to now, but with time the "order by most recent" listing will start to work again.

@rjones would your case be handled ok by just subscribing to the test-reports list (that already gets these)?
