Describe the issue python-authres is a stalled EPEL package. Per the EPEL stalled package policy - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests - I have contacted the maintainer, twice, and waited the appropriate amount of time. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2324061 I am requesting salimma be given commit permissions so that I might branch and build this package in epel10. I am also requesting that the collaborator ACL for epel-packagers-sig be fixed - right now it does not list any branch, it should allow epel*. The primary maintainer has sadly ignored requests to fix this.
salimma
epel-packagers-sig
epel*
When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) 2024/12/06
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) N/A
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? Blocking branching of dkimpy which blocks branching the b4 tool used by kernel developers
