#12441 Enable monitoring on some packages
Closed: Fixed 20 days ago by zlopez. Opened a month ago by nmontero.

  • Describe the issue
We need to enable monitoring in dist-git on the following packages as part of first-wave of Packit onboarding:
    epiphany
    gdm
    gnome-backgrounds
    gnome-bluetooth
    gnome-boxes
    gnome-calculator
    gnome-calendar
    gnome-music
    gnome-nibbles
    gnome-sudoku
    gnome-weather
    libsecret
    ptyxis
    snapshot

Just to add a bit of context, we are asking for this since non-main-admins can't enable monitoring.

@zlopez is there a easy way to do this on a list with the api or the like?

There is a dist-git API endpoint we can use https://pagure.io/pagure-dist-git/blob/master/f/pagure_distgit/plugin.py#_53, you need to have API token with modify-project permission.

Hello, would it be possible to take a look at this? Thanks a lot in advance!

@zlopez could you work on this? or know someone else who could?

I'm taking this, sorry it took so long to respond.

The monitoring is now enabled on the packages. I created a small script to do that easily in future https://github.com/Zlopez/anitya_scripts/blob/master/set_monitoring_on_distgit/set_monitoring_on_distgit.py
