#12421 Stalled EPEL package: python-webencodings
Closed: Fixed a month ago by jnsamyak. Opened a month ago by tdawson.

  • Describe the issue
python-webencodings is a stalled EPEL package.
Per the EPEL stalled package policy - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests - I have contacted the maintainer, twice, and waited the appropriate amount of time.
    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2318035
I am requesting tdawson be given commit permissions python-webencodings so that I might branch and build it in epel10.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    2024-10-31

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
python-webencodings is needed to build python-html5lib in epel10.
python-html5lib is required to build several packages. The most important to me is qt6-qtwebengine.
