#12045 arb package not really retired?
Closed: Fixed with Explanation a month ago by kevin. Opened a month ago by jjames.

  • Describe the issue
I ran "fedpkg retire" on March 29 to retire the arb package in Rawhide and F40. However, I have not seen it appear as a dropped package in any subsequent Rawhide compose report. Also, https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/arb still shows builds for Rawhide and F40. Running "fedpkg retire" again just reports that the required git commit is present. Did some part of the retirement process fail to happen and, if so, is there something I can do to make it try again ("fedpkg retire" is clearly not suitable for that)?

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
No particular time, but prior to F40 final release would be good.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    Never.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
A package that is now obsoleted by the flint package will remain in the distribution.
