#11713 epel-release-latest-7 URL is broken
Closed: Duplicate 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by fodbot.

  • On the EPEL Quickstart page, the URL to epel-release-latest-7 gives a 403 Forbidden: https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm while the 8 and 9 releases have functioning URLs.

  • Need this now

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? After RHEL7 loses support in 2024

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? I'll have to figure out how to migrate my production ansible scripts to RHEL8 or RHEL9 in a hurry : (

This looks similar to https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/11564 which is about permission allowed and denied at different times. This looks to be an infrastructure problem versus a release one as the permissions on the file are -rw-r--r--

Yes, this is the same issue. Lets track it over there?
