Those updates might need to be changed to pending -> testing so they get pushed to updates-testing. Those updates might've been undergoing the OpenQA tests when the beta freeze started.
When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) I'm not sure.
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) I'm not sure.
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? Those updates might not be pushed to updates-testing until their states are changed to pending -> testing then pushed to updates-testing (or whatever else is appropriate).
Metadata Update from @phsmoura: - Issue tagged with: medium-gain, medium-trouble, ops
I have manually tagged the missing builds into f39-updates-testing. Let's see if bodhi recovers.
Have you run an updates-testing compose since then? I still don't see the fwupd update in the repo. https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/updates/testing/39/Everything/x86_64/Packages/f/
kf5-kio-5.109.0-3.fc39, rpm-4.18.92-3.fc39, boost-1.81.0-8.fc39, fwupd-1.9.4-1.fc39 appear to have been pushed to updates-testing after the F39 testing compose that just finished. Thanks. The bodhi updates didn't show a message that they were pushed to testing though.
Yeah, bodhi thought they were in testing before even though they were not. ;(
Anyhow, all should be back on track now? Or did you see anything further here?
kf5-kio-5.109.0-3.fc39, rpm-4.18.92-3.fc39, boost-1.81.0-8.fc39 are in updates-testing. fwupd-1.9.4-1.fc39 and qt5-qtbase-5.15.10-8.fc39 were pushed stable. I didn't see any other F39 updates that were submitted shortly before the beta freeze started but weren't pushed to testing or stable, but there might've been others.
The underlying problem of bodhi not automatically pushing updates which were submitted before a freeze but weren't done with automated testing before the freeze started might be something to address in a different issue. Those updates were submitted to bodhi 11:00-12.00 UTC on 2023-8-22, and their automated tests finished from 12:00 for boost which failed the one required test and around 14:00 for the others. The beta freeze looked to have started around 13:30-14:30 based on the first bodhi updates around that time submitted to updates-testing automatically like https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-8869d53d5f Those updates which weren't pushed were in the critical path, while some other non-critical path updates submitted shortly after those were pushed to stable automatically like qpwgraph-0.5.2-1.fc39 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-401a93a351 and didn't undergo OpenQA testing.
Thanks again for the report.
Yeah, we need to rework how we freeze things for branching yet again, but this issue should be all taken care of.
