#11567 Untag gnome-shell-extensions-45~alpha-2.fc39 and mutter-45~alpha-6.fc39 (also mutter-45~alpha-6.eln128 and gnome-shell-extensions-45~alpha-2.eln128)

  • Describe the issue
Version 45~alpha of mutter and gnome-shell-extensions got built by the mass rebuild and tagged in, as they were committed to the rawhide branch (but had not yet been built). In that state, dependencies are unmet and a compose is impossible (because there's no gnome-shell-45~alpha). We built gnome-shell-45~alpha too to see if that solved things, but unfortunately, there seem to be bugs in the 45~alpha versions which make tests fail, especially https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2918 .

To get a consistent package set that passes tests, we need to untag the 45~alpha builds and go back to the pre-mass-rebuild versions until upstream can take a look at the click bug at least.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    ASAP

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    When the bug is fixed

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Composes will fail, openQA tests will fail for all Rawhide updates (so they will not go stable).

Both untagged from f39 and eln
