Describe the issue python-aiosmtpd is a stalled EPEL package. Per the EPEL stalled package policy - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests - we have contacted the maintainer, twice, and waited the appropriate amount of time. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2133557 I am a member of the epel-packagers-sig and I am requesting epel-packagers-sig be given commit permissions so that I, or a member of the SIG, might branch and build this package in epel9. Please also add my account: salimma.
When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) 2023/07/14
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) N/A
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? Stalls packaging django and thus mailman web UI, blocking migrating the mailing list infra to EL9

Something seems to have gone wrong, I can branch but can't actually build:
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=103275739
BuildError: package python-aiosmtpd not in list for tag epel9-testing-candidate
Can someone take another look? Thanks!

I rechecked the settings and it seems the proper access (collaborator on epel branches) is to me from my end. At first glance at the error, it looks like a different issue. I can get back to this tomorrow morning in my tz.
oh, just noticed something went wrong when branching - so I'll follow up there instead. thanks!
