Describe the issue
While working on the latest release for https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/butane , I found I had accidentally created an upstream branch when trying to push changes to f38. As a result I would like to remove the branch upstream-f38 from the list of branches. I have attempted to delete it, but I got a "Branch deletion is not allowed".

When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
I would like to have this asap though I understand if it takes longer. 2023/04/01

If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
I will have a branch that causes confusion to others, as it will not be used.
