#11086 F38 Self contained change: LXQt image for aarch64
Closed: Fixed 5 months ago by humaton. Opened a year ago by zsun.

  • Describe the issue
We are planning to have the LXQt images for aarch64 generated since the upcoming Fedora 38.

Just like other spins, we need both the ISO and the disk image (for SBC).

The self contained change is here

This is fine from the arm SIG PoV

Hi @zsun,

this will require some changes, adding aarch64 here: https://pagure.io/pungi-fedora/blob/main/f/fedora.conf#_695 will build aarch64 live image with the next compose.

For the disk images, you will need to create *-disk kickstart, something like: https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/blob/main/f/fedora-disk-xfce.ks

Once you have the kickstart ready I can make the appropriate config changes to pungi.

Sure, thanks for the heads-up. I'll take a look as soon as possible

I did some cleaning and proposed a disk kickstart. I'll test it once the change to fedora-release. I'll send the kickstart PR after all those finished.

The change has been approved as per https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/2884.
I've submitted the PR to fedora-kickstarts in

The PR for kickstart has been merged.

I've made a PR for Pungi here. @humaton can you help to check if that looks good? I don't have any experience with Pungi before.

The Pungi change has been merged by Stephen. Thanks a lot!

However I see a failure in Koji

It failed with BuildError: package (image) Fedora-LXQt not in list for tag f38-updates-candidate.

Can anyone help me understand what's the cause of this issue?

Thanks in advance!
