#11037 Fedora 36: pam.i686 not available in updated repository
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by phsmoura. Opened 2 years ago by oturpe.

  • Describe the issue
Users with pam.i686 installed in Fedora 36 are unable to perform dnf upgrade.
In the fedora repository, there are both x86_64 and i686 for pam-1.5.2-12.fc36,
but in updates, there is only x86_64 for pam-1.5.2-13.fc36.

See rhbz#2124059 for exact error messages and further discussion.
There, @sharkcz suggests that this situation is a releng issue, so reporting it here.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    Not urgent.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    When Fedora 36 goes end-of-life.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Affected users have to uninstall pam.i686,
or figure out how to download and install it from Koji.
