We have done it both ways in the past:

• releng made respins for f35 for lenovo

• frame.work requested one, but was happy to just use the respin as it was made around the time they needed it.

Hi all,

Let me know if you'd rather have a new ticket opened - but we need to respin the image to include the new version of amdgpu firmware in linux-firmware.
Fortunately the version needed is in F36 latest updates - so we just need a respin on the latest. Would that be possible please?

Everything else is looking good (apart from some minor niggles around fingerprint reader but those are corner cases that won't block preload).

I noticed the image is no longer in the live-respins directory - I hadn't realised it was temporary.

We point at the image as part of our "We don't change Fedora" stance; so we can say exactly where we got it from. Is it possible to add the image to https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/official-respins/ so it's permenant?

If you don't have the image anymore I guess it may become moot (I still have it if that's acceptable).

As a note - the image completed it's first pass through the QA team so is looking good.

@mpearson I've put it at https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/live-respins-archive/

I asked about putting it in official-respins but @kevin requested that I make a new directory, since the official-respins directory are respins built by releng and live-respins are built by the Respins SIG, so I made a new live-respins-archive and put it in there.

Will that work?
