#10717 Unretire rpms/lm_sensors-epel
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by humaton. Opened 2 years ago by tdawson.

  • Describe the issue
    lm_sensors-epel was retired accidentally.
When I was reviewing all my <package>-epel packages to retire those no longer needed, I forgot that lm_sensors-epel was arch specific, so when I saw that lm_sensors-devel was in CentOS Stream 9 CRB, I thought that Red Hat has fixed the problem.
I was wrong, it is still missing in ppc64le and s390x. and I still need the package.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
Now ... but 2022-03-29 will do.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
Looks like the Red Hat package maintainer hasn't reponded yet, so N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
We will not be able to build the KDE Plasma Desktop on epel9 for several arches.
