#10511 Please retire pki-core on F36
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by humaton. Opened 2 years ago by edewata.

  • Describe the issue

The pki-core package should have been retired on F35 (see the last commit):
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pki-core/commits/rawhide

But it looks like pki-core is still available on F36:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pki-core

Could you please check what's going on? Thanks.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

pki-core should be removed from F36 before it is released.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

N/A. pki-core should be retired as early as possible.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

pki-core is no longer maintained, so it may confuse Fedora users.

By the dates of the build, I would say something went wrong during the mass rebuild or branching. The package is now blocked and untagged from f36
