#10389 Branch refs/heads/f33 is unsupported (branches of soon to be EOL Fedoras are marked as already EOL in PDC)
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by humaton. Opened 2 years ago by churchyard.

  • Describe the issue

Fedora 33 pull requests cannot be merged because "Branch refs/heads/f33 is unsupported".
However, F33 should be unsupported until 2021-11-30. We still need a way to push fixes.

Please, enable pushes to f33 until it goes EOL.

  • When do you need this? (2021/11/19)

ASAP, to be able to deliver fixes before F33 goes EOL.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (2021/11/30)

When F33 actually goes EOL.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

We cannot support Fedora 33 when it is still claimed to be supported.

Thanks.

According to @mizdebsk, f33 branches are marked as EOL in PDC, which is the cause.

Yes, f33 branches have EOL set to 2021-11-16.
It can be adjusted by running adjust-eol-all.py script.

Is there a Fedora final release SOP where we could add "adjust the Fedora N-2 EOL dates in PDC to match reality", so this does not happen again?

I am working on fixing it.

Let's keep this open unless we actually solve this long term?
