Describe the issue gnugo is a stalled EPEL package. Per the EPEL stalled package policy - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests - I have contacted the maintainer, twice, and waited the appropriate amount of time. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1985031 This is a KDE required package, and I am requesting kde-sig admin permission for this package. I am a part of the kde-sig, so this would give me the correct permissions to branch and build them in epel8 and epel8-next. If you need a specific user, then add me, tdawson with the permissions.
When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) 2021/10/08
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) N/A
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? kigo will not be able to be installed on epel8. Although kigo is not a critical part of KDE, those who use it would like it to be install-able.
