This was ftbfs, but... I think that was the fault of the "sdl12-compat" change.
It actually builds now (tested with fedpkg srpm scratch build).
Plus I have a new version.
Please reopen. Thanks!
The package is retired for more than 8 Weeks as per https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Package_Retirement_Process/#claiming We require a re-review to unretire this package.

Oh, sorry, I read that as "if it hadn't gotten a package review" (like some ancient Fedora Core packages, still).
Will do, although it's kind of bureaucratic hoops at this point because there are literally no changes from the existing package. (The ftbfs is actually a tooling bug, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1923437#c7, and I just should have resubmitted a new build but was busy and failed to.)
But, sure, I am not claiming any special exception to our processes. :)

Guidelines can change in time. We generally assume a package that has been retired for 4 months might not be in the best shape wrt recent guidelines.

My comments specific to this particular package are in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2010409#c2
The package is now unretired. For missing branches please use $fedpkg request-branch
