#10235 mirror CentOS Stream 9 in Fedora infrastructure
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by kevin. Opened 2 years ago by carlwgeorge.

Describe the issue

I'd like to set up the c9s buildroot as an external repo in koji for epel9-next. Please mirror those repos inside the Fedora infrastructure for this purpose.

When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

non-emergency ASAP

When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

2027 (c9s EOL)

If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

Prevents the creation of epel9-next.

Two additional things of note:

  • I suspect this will need to be done with reposync instead of rsync due to symlinks in the directory structure, but of course I'll leave the specific implementation up to y'all.
  • With epel8-next we had to set this up with grobisplitter, but I don't think that will be necessary here because 9 shouldn't have any modules in the buildroot.

How often would you want this to be synced? I would imagine it could change often... ;(

Once a day should be fine, I think.

Should be available at https://infrastructure.fedoraproject.org/repo/centos/centos-9-stream/$basearch now (or will be very soon, it's finishing syncing now).
