#10150 F35 System-Wide Change: Use yescrypt as default hashing method for shadow passwords
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by mohanboddu. Opened 2 years ago by besser82.

I would like to have the following request reviewed by releng:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/yescrypt_as_default_hashing_method_for_shadow

This is a request to make the yescrypt hashing method the default method used for new user passwords stored in /etc/shadow.
