#10137 F35 System-Wide Change: Add GPT Install Option for Kickstart
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by davdunc. Opened 2 years ago by davdunc.

I would like to have the following request reviewed by releng:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/AddGPTbootOption

This is a request to add support for configuring GPT partition table in kickstart without requiring a custom pre-installation script or a custom boot script. This is submitted in support of moving the cloud images to BTRFS by default

Moved the page to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/InstallGPTwithKickstart to more accurately reflect the goal of the request. Sorry for the confusion.

Releng only has to review the PR for kickstarts repo for this change, no other work is needed for this change from releng side.

Thanks for filing the ticket and checking with us.

In the related feedback. Brian Lane pointed out that there was a directive that would achieve this goal without the requirement for a related kickstart modification. We no longer see this as a necessary system-wide change.
