Quick mirror script automatically pulls down the two latest Fedora releases and acts like it pulls the rest, but instead leaves a README saying:
ATTENTION ====================================== The contents of this directory have been moved to our archives available at: http://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/ If you are having troubles finding something there please stop by #fedora-admin on irc.freenode.net
There should be an option to fetch all versions of Fedora, specify the versions, or choose versions. Something like:
FEDORA_VERSIONS=14,18,LATEST
or
FEDORA_VERSIONS=ALL
I disagree that this should be an option; you can add filtering if that's really what you want. Especially determining "latest" is not always trivial, and pulling versions after they have gone to the archive requires more knowledge of how the master mirrors are organized than I am willing to build in to this program.
The README file is exactly what is in the actual mirror. quick-fedora-mirror just made a copy, exactly as it should.
